Can advanced technology save labor's problems?

Geesh; after nearly thirty years of organizing and standing up for the working stiff, where does a woman begin? I looked at the calendar the other day, and that great big TWO-ZERO-ZERO-FIVE is giving me shivers each time I look at it. Wasn't it 2000 just last week?
