Can't Make the Meeting

Hi, will probably be at the demo but need to leave by 5:00 p.m. to get to an appointment. Will still help out though.

notes from meeting

Well, it turns out Mulligan's is closed (thanks a lot, Yahoo!) so Susan, Lydia and I ended up having a short meeting at the Harp.

Susan will be submitting a slightly redrafted proposal draft next week to see if we can get some $$$. Since things have been a bit slow getting off the ground, we're asking for space in March (spring break) instead of January. And the proposed budget probably won't include transportation and lodging for workshop leaders, so we should think about additional funding sources if we want to go that route.

I think our most immediate task is to recruit some more folks for the planning committee - judging from the activity in the forum, we haven't quite reached a critical mass yet! Maybe try and get a blurb in the Weekly Reader (and the NH AFL-CIO news as well...)?

We may want to start thinking about possible workshops/presenters - if we can get a few initial ones "confirmed", I think it would help increase the level of interest. Do we know of any local folks (including ourselves!) who might be candidates to lead workshops on one or more of the topics on the LaborTech list (which we're using as a list of "potential" workshops in the funding proposal)?
