Operating Engineers Move to Silence Member Web Sites

In a blatant attempt to control members from building rank and file web sites the IUOE has written bylaws to curb its members free speech rights. The information is posted below and can be found here:

It appears the Unions are getting desperate. How arrogant is it to assume that you can regulate free speech just because you are a Union officer. I hope the Operating Engineers have the brass to tell these idiots where the back door is. Any Rank and File Operating Engineer who is persecuted by this action can contact me. I will put their site up in my name with their content. I will put up as many sites as I can until I run out of space at my host site.

This is a blatant attempt by a Union to stop the Rank and File members fight to provide Union brothers with all the information about their Union and its officers.This action by the IUOE shows they obviously have something to hide. We must NOT allow some arrogant Union lap dog to assume for one minute that they can control free speech by its members.
