New experimental Drupal-based wiki

Steve Dondley's picture

I've created a new experimental wiki: http://www.communicateordie.com/node/66.
It's a weird hybrid version of Drupal's book module and the wiki module. Note you must be registered with this site and logged in to edit and add pages.

If you overlook the fact things are called a "book," I think we can live with this. Let's give this a shot and see if it suits our purposes. Please post comments about it here.

Wiki Functions

For a person to really be able to use the fucntionality of a wiki, we need to be able to have these [WikiFunctions]. Not sure if that is possible yet.... http://ninjafish.org/project/wiki

Well, we've got two of the four functions.

OK, check out http://www.communicateordie.com/node/76 for the RecentChanges page that I programmed. It lists only book (wiki) pages. If an entry has been modified, it will show up with a red asterisk next to it. It also tells you who edited it. Simple but it works. The other function we have available is the "diff". See [WikiFunctions] for some explanation how that works. I'm not familiar with the other wiki functions. You'll have to fill me in on what those are. I had seen that ninjafish link before. That module is for an older version of Drupal. It wouldn't work. I would have to take some time to upgrade it.
