All Communicate or Die community posts need to be based on these following specific goals, which are:
1) To explain to the labor movement, both at the grassroots and leadership levels, what opportunities the internet affords and why they cannot afford to be squandered.
2) To help the labor movement figure out what effective and efficient internet tools are available and how to use them.
3) To share ideas, resources, and news between members in order to help meet the above stated goals.
If a post is found to off topic, the site administrator shall close out comments to the post after adding the following message immediately below the post:
"We thank you for your participation in our community, however, your post was determined to be off topic. Please see our [Off Topic Policy]. Out of responsibility to the members of this board who come here to find specific kinds of material, we cannot permit postings that are not related, or only incidental to, the stated mission and goals of this site. We ask that you please consider a different venue on the internet for your ideas or, alternatively, post your thoughts in the [Off Topic Forum|http://www.communicateordie.com/forum/49] or under your own Communicate or Die weblog space. Posting of comments here will be discontinued and this post will be removed after 24 hours. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
You can appeal this decision by contacting the site administrator via http://www.communicateordie.com/user/1/contact. In your communication, please include reasons for your appeal."
Spam, inflammatory language, or grossly indecent material shall be removed immediately.
